Conti links up with Charcol - 2nd June 2008
Exclusive partnership for overseas mortgages
Conti Financial Services Ltd, the UK's leading overseas mortgage specialist, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Charcol, the UK's leading independent mortgage broker, to provide finance for holiday homes, investment and retirement properties in more than 45 countries.
The relationship means that Conti is the only overseas mortgage provider to be recommended by Charcol to clients interested in purchasing a property abroad, through its award-winning website www.charcol.co.uk. Conti says that despite the 'credit crunch', the market for overseas property is still very buoyant, and that its partnership with Charcol will enable even more people to find the right mortgage to buy their property abroad. The partnership is effective from 4 June 2008.
Existing owners of overseas property can also benefit from this new relationship, through Conti's new remortgaging service, which covers 15 countries across Europe, Africa and the USA.

Alternatively, if they have already found a property they'd like to buy, they can obtain a detailed quote. If they proceed with a mortgage application, Conti will manage the process through to completion, making the process as painless as possible.
All mortgage applications will be processed and underwritten by Conti’s teams of specialists, who know the exact mortgage application requirements for each overseas lender. It can also ensure that clients are put in touch with specialists in the country in question, to enable then to comply fully with planning and legal conditions and assist with currency exchange.
